This fuel pressure sensor continuously monitors the pressure in the fuel system of the host tractor or combine. It is installed in the fuel rail or supply line and sends a voltage signal to the engine control unit, which adjusts injection timing and fuel delivery based on the reading. A failing sensor can cause hard starting, erratic idle, or reduced power under load because the ECU receives an incorrect pressure value. The sensor is manufactured by AGCO to match the original electrical connector pinout and thread form, so it seats correctly in the housing without adapters or wiring modifications. On replacement, ensure the sealing O-ring is clean and the connector locks fully.
