This drive chain transmits power from the gearbox to the reel on a grain harvester header. A worn or stretched chain causes the reel to slip or run at an inconsistent speed, leading to uneven feeding and potential plugging of the header. The chain is supplied with the correct number of links and includes the connecting clip for installation. When replacing, ensure the clip is oriented with its closed end facing the direction of travel to prevent it from catching on sprockets.
