Product Description

This sealing ring fits the mower drive assembly on a self-propelled forage harvester. It sits between the rotating shaft and the stationary housing, preventing lubricant leakage and keeping contaminants out of the gear train. A worn or hardened seal allows oil to weep from the drive housing, which can lead to bearing starvation and eventual gear damage. The part is manufactured to the original profile so it seats correctly in the housing groove without modification. On installation, ensure the sealing lip faces the lubricant side and that the bore is clean and free of burrs.
