This Corteco seal ring is a replacement simering for the drive system of agricultural tractors and combines. It sits on a rotating shaft inside the transmission or final drive housing, retaining lubricant and excluding contaminants. A worn or hardened seal allows oil leakage past the shaft, which can lead to reduced lubricant level and eventual bearing or gear damage. Corteco manufactures this seal to match the original housing bore and shaft contact geometry, so the lip rides on the correct wear track without requiring shaft sleeve replacement. On installation, ensure the seal lip faces the lubricant side and the bore is clean; drive the seal square to the housing face.
