Product Description

This sealing ring sits in the transfer gearbox of a self-propelled forage harvester. It prevents oil leakage between the stationary housing and the rotating shaft, maintaining the correct fluid level for gear and bearing lubrication. A degraded seal allows oil to escape, which can lead to gearbox overheating and component damage. The ring is manufactured to match the original housing groove dimensions so that no additional shimming or modification is needed during replacement. On reinstall, ensure the sealing surface is clean and free of debris before seating the ring.
