Product Description

This castle nut secures the threshing drum to its shaft within the combine's threshing mechanism. It locks the drum in place axially, preventing it from shifting during operation. A loose or worn nut allows the drum to move, causing vibration and uneven threshing clearance. The nut is manufactured to the original thread specification, ensuring it seats correctly against the drum hub without requiring additional shimming. On reinstallation, clean the threads and tighten to the specified torque.
