This housing encloses the eccentric shaft that drives the shaker mechanism on the header. It supports the shaft and maintains its alignment within the tine-bar assembly. A worn or cracked housing allows the shaft to shift, which causes vibration and uneven crop flow into the feeder. The housing is a direct replacement for the original component and uses the same mounting-hole pattern as the earlier version. When installing, note that if the housing replaces the older version, the corresponding pins must also be replaced.
