This chain drives the straw elevator, which moves crop material through the threshing assembly. It transmits torque from the drive sprocket to the elevator shaft, maintaining the timing between the upper and lower sprockets. A worn or stretched chain causes the elevator slats to drift out of sync, leading to material bunching and reduced throughput. The set includes a connecting link for installation.
