This mounting secures the bearing that supports the straw-walker shaft within the cleaning unit of a grain harvester. It positions the bearing housing at the correct height and alignment so the shaft can rotate freely without binding or inducing vibration. A loose or worn mounting allows the bearing to shift, which causes the walker cranks to run out of true and accelerates wear on the shaft and bushings. The JAG-manufactured part is formed to the same profile as the original bracket, so it seats flush against the frame without shimming. When reinstalling, tighten the fasteners to the specified torque to prevent the mounting from loosening under the cyclic load of the walker assembly.
