Product Description

This bearing assembly supports the rotation of the header reel or auger on a grain harvester. It mounts in the header frame and carries the radial load from the driven roller, maintaining alignment with the adjacent sprocket or pulley. A worn bearing produces lateral play in the roller, which can cause belt misalignment and uneven crop feed into the auger. The manufacturer machines the bearing race and rolling elements to the original clearance specification, so no shimming is required during installation.
