This metal-rubber bushing isolates the sieve basket from vibration and shock loads transmitted through the cleaning-unit frame. It sits between the basket support bracket and the mounting lug, absorbing cyclical forces during operation. A worn bushing allows excessive play, which causes the sieve to rattle against its housing and can misalign the cleaning airflow path. The manufacturer specifies the bushing's rubber compound to match the original assembly's damping characteristics, so replacement maintains the intended vibration isolation without altering the sieve's oscillation frequency.
