This toothed disc is a tillage component designed for a disc harrow. It cuts and mixes residue into the soil as the harrow is pulled forward. The teeth on the outer edge improve penetration and residue incorporation compared to a smooth disc. The disc mounts to the harrow gang via the center hole and the bolt pattern around it. A worn or dull disc reduces cutting efficiency and may cause the harrow to ride over residue rather than slicing through it. The disc is manufactured to the same geometry as the original assembly, so it aligns with the spacer spools and bearings on the gang without modification.
