Maschio Gaspardo

This hub is the bearing carrier for the seed disc on a grain seeder. It centers and supports the disc hub assembly, allowing the metering disc to rotate freely as it delivers seed to the coulter. A worn or damaged hub introduces radial play, which causes the disc to wobble and leads to uneven seed spacing. This original component is machined to the same bore tolerance as the seeder's shaft, so no shimming is required during installation.
