This self-lubricating bushing acts as a wear interface between the tensioner pivot and its mounting bore on the seed drill. It reduces friction at the pivot point so the tensioner arm moves freely under spring load, maintaining consistent belt or chain tension to the metering drive. A worn bushing introduces slop that allows the tensioner to tilt, causing belt slip and uneven seed metering. This original part is machined to the same bore and shaft clearances as the factory assembly, so no shimming or reaming is needed during replacement.
