This hydraulic oil filter is installed in the gearbox circuit of the host tractor. It removes particulate contamination from the hydraulic fluid before it circulates through the transmission components. A clogged filter element reduces lubrication flow and can cause erratic shifting or overheating in the hydraulic transmission. The manufacturer machines the filter media and housing interface to match the original assembly’s seal geometry, ensuring the bypass valve seats correctly. Replace the housing gasket on reinstall and tighten the cap to the specified torque.
