AIR FLOW SYSTEM To enable consistently high air flow, the collection bag has a special ventilation opening. Only air can escape through it – regardless of the fill level and degree of contamination of the collection bag. In this way, the STIHL air flow management system ensures constant suction power and thus consistently high work progress.
BOOST FUNCTION to quickly switch to maximum suction power. An additional press on the trigger of the STIHL garden vacuum immediately activates maximum suction force.
SUCTION NOZZLE OPENING WITH RECESSES the recesses on the side of the suction nozzle opening minimize the risk of sticking to the floor or the material being vacuumed.

To ensure maximum suction power, the SHA 140 is equipped with a boost function that can be easily activated using the mode change lever. Metal shredder blades ensure effective shredding of the collected material, which is then collected directly in the 55-litre collection bag. The bag can be removed for emptying without tools, and thanks to solid, durable metal clasps it can be easily opened and closed. Another advantage of the SHA 140 is the air flow management function, which ensures consistently high suction power regardless of the fill level and degree of contamination of the 55-litre collection bag. Furthermore, the intelligent design of the STIHL SHA 140 means that this vacuum can be opened without tools for cleaning when the suction nozzle rests on the ground.
All cordless tools in the STIHL AP system are designed for regular professional use, even in unfavourable weather conditions. For this reason, they have a splash resistance certificate. The effectiveness of this solution is also verified through demanding internal tests. The splash water test complies, among others, with the IPX4 standard.
