This friction disc transmits torque between gearbox shafts through its splined inner bore and outer teeth. It sits between the driving and driven plates in the clutch pack of the transmission. When the disc wears below its original thickness, the clutch pack loses clamping force, leading to slipping under load and incomplete power transfer. The original AGCO part is machined to the same thickness and tooth profile as the factory assembly, so the clutch pack engages at the correct stack height without requiring shimming. On reinstallation, inspect the mating plates for scoring and replace them if worn.
