This scraper ring fits inside the lift cylinder of a tractor's hydraulic system. It contacts the cylinder wall and rod, wiping away fluid and debris to prevent contamination from bypassing the piston seal. A worn or hardened ring allows leakage past the piston, reducing lift capacity and causing drift under load. This component is manufactured to the original cylinder bore and rod dimensions, so it seats correctly in the groove without requiring shimming or modification. Replace the ring whenever the cylinder is opened for seal service.
