This clutch pressure plate is the component that clamps the driven disc against the flywheel to transmit engine torque through the drivetrain. It sits inside the clutch housing, where its diaphragm spring applies the clamping force that engages the clutch when the pedal is released. A worn or fatigued pressure plate reduces clamping force, causing clutch slip under load and making engagement feel soft or inconsistent. This part is manufactured by Claas to match the original spring rate and release-lever geometry, so the clutch engages at the same pedal height and with the same feel as the factory assembly. On reinstall, ensure the flywheel face is clean and the release bearing is in good condition.
