SF-Filter - SK3440/1 - Engine Fuel Filter

This engine fuel filter removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before it reaches the injection system. It sits in the fuel line between the tank and the high-pressure pump on the host combine or forage harvester. A clogged filter restricts fuel flow, causing power loss and hard starting; a bypassed element allows contaminants to reach the injectors, accelerating wear on the pump and nozzle assemblies. The manufacturer machines the sealing surfaces to match the housing's original groove profile, ensuring the filter seats correctly and the bypass valve opens at the intended pressure differential. On replacement, drain any water from the housing bowl and tighten the housing cap to the specified torque.
