This cabin filter from SF-Filter traps airborne particulates before they enter the tractor cab's HVAC system. It sits in the filter housing mounted on the cab exterior or inside the fresh-air intake plenum; clean airflow passes through the filter media and then across the evaporator and heater core. A loaded filter reduces airflow volume, which can cause poor defogging performance and inadequate heating or cooling. The filter element is constructed with pleated media bonded to a rigid frame that matches the housing seal surface, ensuring that unfiltered air does not bypass the media. On replacement, verify the airflow direction arrow on the frame aligns with the housing's flow path.
