This bearing assembly supports the shaft of the inclined conveyor, which moves crop material upward into the threshing or separation system. It mounts on the conveyor housing and carries the radial and axial loads from the rotating shaft. A worn bearing produces shaft wobble, which can misalign the conveyor chain or slats and cause material spillage or jamming. The assembly is manufactured to the original geometry so that the bolt pattern and shaft height match the housing without shimming. When replacing, inspect the shaft journal for wear and tighten the mounting bolts to the specified torque.
