This handle secures the finger to the auger flighting on the header of a grain harvester. It threads into the finger base and provides a grip for installation and removal. A loose or missing handle allows the finger to detach during operation, which can cause damage to the auger trough and the header floor. The handle is machined to match the thread pitch of the original assembly so it seats fully without cross-threading.
