Mann Filter - HD601 - Hydraulic Filter Insert

This hydraulic filter element captures particulate from the hydraulic system and PTO circuit before fluid reaches downstream components. It sits in the filter housing on the return side of the loop, where trapped wear particles protect the pump and valve assemblies from scoring. A clogged or bypassed element causes pressure drop and chatter, which reduces hydraulic response and can shorten pump life. The manufacturer machines the element to match the housing's seal groove and bypass-valve cracking pressure, so a fresh element restores normal flow and filtration. On installation, replace the housing seal and torque the cap as specified.
