SF-Filter - HY13555 - Hydraulic Filter Insert

This hydraulic filter element captures particulate contamination from the hydraulic circuit before the fluid reaches the high-pressure pump. It sits in the housing on the return side of the loop, where trapped wear particles protect the pump and downstream valve assemblies from scoring and erosion. A clogged element forces the bypass valve open, sending unfiltered fluid through the system and accelerating component wear. The manufacturer machines the element to match the housing's seal groove dimensions, ensuring proper bypass-valve seating and consistent cracking pressure. On installation, replace the housing seal and torque the cap to the specified value.
