SF-Filter - SK3176/2 - Engine Fuel Filter

This engine fuel filter removes particulate and water from the fuel supply before the fuel reaches the injection pump. It is installed in the fuel line between the tank and the high-pressure pump, where it protects the injector nozzles from abrasive contaminants. A restricted filter causes hard starting, loss of power, and erratic idle as the pump struggles to draw fuel. The manufacturer machines the sealing threads and filter-media pleat count to match the original housing's bypass-valve calibration, so a fresh filter restores the correct flow restriction. On replacement, drain any water from the housing bowl and prime the system before starting.
