Wear on the seal face or poppet seat leads to external leakage or air ingestion during coupling, which causes erratic implement response and aeration of the hydraulic oil. This component is manufactured to the original geometry and seal-groove dimensions, so the poppet seats correctly against the housing without requiring shims or adapters. On installation, ensure the mating plug is clean and undamaged, and verify that the locking sleeve engages fully before pressurizing the circuit.
