This bolt secures engine-mounted components to the host tractor's block or bracket. It passes through the component flange and threads into a tapped hole in the engine structure, maintaining clamp load under vibration and thermal cycling. A loose or corroded bolt can allow the attached assembly to shift, causing misalignment of belts or linkages. The bolt is an original-manufacturer part, machined to the same thread tolerance and material grade as the fastener originally installed at the factory, so no shimming or thread-lock adjustment is needed. On reinstallation, clean the threads and torque the bolt to the specification for the mounting point.
