This bearing housing encloses and supports the bearing that carries the shaft in the grain unloading drive. It positions the bearing relative to the auger or conveyor assembly, maintaining shaft alignment under load. A damaged or worn housing allows bearing misalignment, which leads to shaft vibration and accelerated wear of the seal and drive components. As an original component from the manufacturer, the housing is cast to the same internal bore geometry and bolt-hole pattern as the original assembly, so it accepts the bearing without modification. On replacement, transfer the bearing and seal from the old housing, and torque the mounting bolts to the specification for the host machine.
